DETAILS ITINERARY:

DAY 1 PHNOM PENH ARRIVAL [GUIDE]

Arrive Phnom Penh, meet with guide and driver then transfer to hotel for check in. Free to relax.

DAY 2 PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR [GUIDE/B]

Breakfast at the hotel  - Visit Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal families live. it is like a small town of royal dynasties. Continue to Silver Pagoda, serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds and followed by visit Wat Phnom Temple is one of the most important pagodas in Phnom Penh. Built in 1373 on an artificial hill by the wealthy widow Daun Chi Penh.  Afternoon, visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Then Visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), the Market has gained reputation for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images and woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic music instrument.  Overnight in Phnom Penh

DAY 3 PHNOM PENH TRANSFER TO SIEM REAP [GUIDE/B] – TRANSFER PRIVATE NO GUIDE 

Breakfast at the hotel – Transfer overland to Siem Reap (driving takes around 5 hours). Upon arrival, check in the hotel. In the afternoon, We’ll visit Wat Bo, a highly respected pagoda founded in the 18th century, contains very unique wall paintings of the Reamker (Ramayana) that are said to be from late 19th century. Continue to visit the "Les Artisans d'Angkor – Chantiers Ecole" the Finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts. End our visits at one of the city’s lively open markets, Psar Chars, also called the “Old Market”, where anything and everything is for sale. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 4 SIEM REAP ANGKOR WAT [GUIDE/B/L/D]

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, then Visit Preah Khan temple, built by King Jayavarman VII dedicated to his father. It is a huge, highly exportable monastic complex, and served as a Buddhist monastery and school, engaging over 1000 monks. Afternoon, visit Ta Prohm, surrounded by jungle and followed by visit Angkor Wat, the largest temples in world and covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 5 SIEM REAP- [GUIDE/B] 

Breakfast at hotel, Heading out of town we make our way by traveling on a newly paved road to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way we make stopover at the Preah Dark village and we follow these with a visit the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends.  Afternoon, Visit the Roluos Group. The monuments of Rolous, which served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89. Preah Ko erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880. Bakong the largest and most interesting of the Roluos group temples, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance. Lolei built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir (now rice fields) by Yasovarman I, the founder to the first city at Angkor. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 6 SIEM REAP [GUIDE/B]

Have breakfast at the hotel, and be ready for your drive to Aranh village. Admire the life of local people, take an oxcart ride, which is a great way to explore Cambodia authentically, meet a lot of encounters, and interact with local people by visiting their home gardens. Learn their ways of life, and Cambodian culture, help them with vegetable gardening, take beautiful photos, and enjoy seasonal fruits at a village house.  In the afternoon, we will visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, and be amazed by the unnumerous stilted houses on the way. Then visit "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Then get back to your hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 7 SIEM REAP FLIGHT TO HANOI [GUIDE/B]

Today is on your own leisure until transfer to the airport for your flight to the next destination.

DAY 8 HANOI NINH BINH [GUIDE/B]

Breakfast at hotel, then our guide will pick you up to transfer to Ninh Binh 

Arrival in Ninh Binh, you will transfer to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from years 968 to 1010. Then you will visit the Temple of King Dinh and King Le to learn more about Vietnamese history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.

Lunch by your own account 

In the afternoon, you will visit Tam Coc, known as “Halong Bay on the land”, where you will spend 1.5 hours on the bamboo boat to explore this area. On this excursion down the Ngo Dong River, you will pass through the beautiful paddy fields, limestone karst formation, and a stunning cave system including Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba caves for a unique experience. 

Then you will discover Bich Dong Pagoda, an ancient one nestled into the mountain.

Overnight in Ninh Binh 

DAY 9 NINH BINH - HA LONG [B/L/D] – SHUTTLE BUS OF CRUISE

In the morning you will depart to Ha Long Bay City. On the way, you will stop for refreshments, and upon arriving in Halong City, you will take a tender transfer to your junk and set sail through the bay while lunch is served. As you cruise the magical bay, you will notice thousands of sculpted limestone islands rising from the waves like dragons' teeth. Later in the afternoon, you'll visit a fishing village with the opportunity to interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. Back on board, you'll enjoy cocktails or a cooking class while watching the sunset, and later you can unwind at a restaurant with a lavish dinner. To end the day, you can enjoy some evening activities such as movie night, board games, or a beauty treatment, before an overnight stay on the junk.

DAY 10 HA LONG BAY [B/L/D]

In the early morning, practise Vovinam on the sundeck at sunrise, followed by coffee, tea and pastries. Then transfer to a day boat for a trip to Viet Hai Village. Take a bicycle ride through a rainforest tunnel that leads to a stunning vista of verdant rice-fields. Visit a traditional house in a village deep in the national park where you can observe the timeless lifestyle of the local people. Head back to the day boat for a Lunch served on board and then in the afternoon visit Bai Tu Long Bay. Here you can go bamboo boating, kayaking or even swim in Ba Ham Lake, encircled by sheer cliffs (weather permitting). Afterwards, return to the Heritage Cruise for a well-deserved rest.  Later you can join a traditional cookery class and then watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and indulge in a cocktail, beer or fine wine. Savour a fine-dining experience in the main restaurant and relax at the night bar; you can also go squid fishing or watch a movie under the stars. The bars are open until late.

DAY 11 HA LONG BAY - HANOI [B/BR] SHUTTLE BUS OF CRUISE

Wake up on the bay to the sounds of waves and bird welcoming the new day. You will have an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock.

Disembark on cruise, then back to Hanoi.

DAY 12 HANOI CITY TOUR - NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA [GUIDE/B/D]

Explore the charming city of Hanoi, often referred to as the ‘Paris of the East’, with its yellow ochre colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and scenic lakes. Visit the historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an imposing monument of marble and granite built to house the preserved body of beloved revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh, affectionately known to the Vietnamese as “Uncle Ho”. Visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a Buddhist temple built in 1049 of wood in the shape of a lotus blossom and set on a single stone pillar. 

Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university built in the late 11th century. The picturesque temple is an example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and is featured on the back of the 100,000 Vietnamese dong banknote.

Lunch by your own account 

In the afternoon, you will visit Hoa Lo Prison – a historical proof during Vietnam war. 

Then drive back to central Hanoi for a walking tour through the famed Old Quarter known for its ‘36 streets of 36 wares’ named after the original 36 artisan guilds that date as far back as the 13th century. You will visit Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son Temple – the temple of the Jade Mountain. 

Conclude your day by watching an entertaining water puppet performance, a uniquely northern Vietnamese art form said to have originated in the flooded rice fields of the Red River Delta where villagers entertained themselves by manipulating puppets over the water. The show uses colourful wooden puppets to depict scenes of rural life and episodes of national history set to music.  

About 9PM you will transfer to train station and take a night train to Lao Cai (Cabin 4 beds):  SP3 (22:00 - 05:55)

Cabin 2 beds for 2 people/ cabin 4 beds for 4 people 

Overnight on train. 

DAY 13 SAPA - HOMESTAY [GUIDE/B/L/D] – MONG SEN – TA PHIN 

You will be met up at your hotel in Sapa by local guide and transferred downhill to Mong Sen, where you start trekking uphill through mountainous area. Enjoy while walking the spectacular view over rice paddy terraces, corn fields. Your picnic lunch will be provided on the spot.

After lunch, we continue our trek downhill towards Taphin village where you will meet Red Dao and Black Hmong minorities, two largest ethnic groups in Sapa area. Stop by a house to talk with local people to know a bit more about their daily life, their customs and tradition. Have dinner and overnight in the village.

Approx: 1-hour driving/ 4 hours walking/ 1-hour lunch.

DAY 14 HOME STAY - SAPA - LIMOUSINE TO HANOI [GUIDE/B/L]

After breakfast, we start our trek towards Sapa. We will pass through several minority villages; rice paddy terraces along the way. Upon arriving in Matra village inhabited by Black Hmong people, we will stop for our lunch. Then, we continue our walk to Sapa. 

Then transfer to limousine for transfer back to Hanoi – no guide on limousine 

Arrival in Hanoi, check in at hotel and take a rest. 

Overnight in Hanoi. 

Approx: 4 hours walking/ 1-hour lunch.

DAY 15 HANOI FREE AND EASY - FLIGHT TO HUE [GUIDE/B]

Free and easy, then our guide will pick you up to airport for flight to Hue.

DAY 16 HUE CITY TOUR [GUIDE/B]

Breakfast at hotel, then you will discover Hue ancient capital. 

Once the imperial capital of the Nguyen Lords from the 17th to the 19th centuries, Hue’s splendid emperors’ tombs, ancient pagodas and the remains of the Citadel contribute to its undeniable royal charm. Discover the Imperial Citadel at the centre of the Complex of Hue Monuments inscribed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Enter through the towering main gate and appreciate the magnificent architecture and gardens while your guide explains the events and the intrigue surrounding the former royal court. Despite being heavily bombed during the Vietnam War, there are some incredibly well-preserved sections intact and others which are being carefully restored. Take the boat on Huong River, then you wil visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue’s best-preserved religious monument. Built in 1601, the seven-storied tower pagoda, perched on top of on a hill overlooking the Perfume River, is one of Vietnam’s most recognisable icons. 

In the afternoon, visit the elaborate Khai Dinh Royal Tomb. Its architecture showcases elements of Eastern art and Western design. Notice the tomb’s blackened concrete exterior and colourful mosaic interior. Continue to visit Minh Mang Tomb – considered as the most majestic of all of the Royal Tombs. Renowned for its architecture, which harmoniously blends into the nature surroundings.

Transfer back to your hotel with an stop en route at an incense stick making village – an traditional village with over one hundred year old. . 

Overnight in Hue. 

DAY 17 HUE - MY SON HOI AN [GUIDE/B]

Breakfast at hotel, then you will take a private car transfer to Hoi An. On the way, you will come across Hai Van Pass with the panoramic view of Lang Co Beach & East Sea.

Arrival in Hoi An, check in at hotel and take a rest. 

Then, you vill visit My Son – “the spirit and art valley” is a symbol for a brilliant period of Champa kingdom. Since 1999, My Son has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage

Arrive in My Son Temple, a special electric car will pick you up at the main gate and take you to the place where was chosen to build the temple tower of the Champa Royal for nearly 1000 years with many ancient towers hidden in a discreet valley. The place where the most exquisite focus of ancient Champa culture – is considered to be the Holy Land.

There, you will hear the stone bricks tell about the dancing gods, tell about the gods of worship in the Champa culture, and so many secrets that until now still have no explanation and maybe you will be the first decode them.

After visiting and listening to the tour guide talk about the mysteries here, you will be back to the main gate of My Son Ruins by special electric car. Leave My Son Holy land behind.

DAY 18 HOI AN COCONUT FOREST HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN [GUIDE/B]

Free and easy in the morning.

In the afternoon, you will visit Cam Thanh Village with coconut forest and Basket boat dancing – a must see destination in Hoi An. 

In the late afternoon, you will discover Hoi An Ancient Town -– the well-preserved ancient architecture of a trading port from 15 – 19th century. 

In the the late afternoon, Take a walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient town centre, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge. 

Back to hotel and take a rest

Overnight in Hoi An. 

DAY 19 HOI AN GOLDEN BRIDGE [GUIDE/B]

In the morning, transfer to Bana Hills Station. You have a chance to ride on a modern system of cable cars helps you get a bird’s-eye view, very miraculous and attractive while enjoying a feeling of flying in the blue sky amidst the clouds and wind. You will visit some old French villas en route, as well as the suspension bridge, Nui Chua & the Mountain Peak (at the height of 1,487m). Visit Linh Ung Pagoda, Golden Bridge, Sakyamuni Buddha’s monument and Ba Na.

Leave Bana hill behind, you will discover Marble Mountains, home to a network of caves, tunnels, towers, and pagodas built by Mahayana Buddhists and the Nguyen Dynasty Kings.

Back to Hoi An and take a rest.

DAY 20 HOI AN/ DA NANG - FLIGHT TO NHA TRANG [GUIDE/B]

Breakfast at hotel, then you will transfer to airport for flight to Nha Trang.

DAY 24 SAIGON CITY TOUR- VESPA GROUP TOUR [GUIDE/B/D]

Breakfast at hotel, then you will have a half day to discover beautiful Saigon.

The first stop is Opera House and old post office – beautiful French achitecture. 

Then, you will visit History Museum - showcases a diverse range of artifacts and exhibits that illustrate the history of Ho Chi Minh City and the surrounding region, including the time of the Nguyen dynasty, the French colonial period, and the war years.

Next you will visit Reunification Palace - Surrounded by royal palm trees, the dissonant 1960s architecture of this landmark government building and the eerie ambience of its deserted halls make it an intriguing spectacle. The first Communist tanks to arrive in Saigon rumbled here on 30 April 1975 and it’s as if time has stood still since then. The building is deeply associated with the fall of the city in 1975, yet it's the kitsch detailing and period motifs that steal the show. It's also known as the Independence Palace.

Lunch on your own

In the afternoon, you will discover Fine Art Museum with a lot of amazing Vietnamese Artist Work.

Then visisting Opera House and Old Post Office with beautiful French-colonial architecture. 

Next, you will enjoy local street food in Ho Chi Minh – a must-see in this buslting city. 

Back to Hotel for take  a rest.

DAY 25 SAIGON CU CHI TUNNEL  [GUIDE/B]

Depart in the early morning for a 2hr drive northwest to the Cu Chi Tunnels. The ingenious tunnel complex was initially started in 1948 to protect the Viet Cong guerrillas from the French air and ground sweeps. The tunnels also served as communication routes, storage facilities for food and weapon caches and contained hospitals and living quarters for guerrilla fighters throughout the American War.

Then back to hotel, free and easy.

Overnight on Ho Chi Minh. 

DAY 26 SAIGON MEKONG DELTA [GUIDE/B]

Breakfast at hotel, then our guide will pick you up to visit My Tho. Cruising on the Mekong river for a sight-seeing of the four islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix and Rạch Miễu bridge.Heading toThới Sơn (Uniorn island, the biggest island in this area which is about 1.200 square hectare and about 11 km long) to see bee hives and enjoy honey tea at local people’s house. Taking horse-carriage (or electric cart) along the village road. Resting at a farm-house to enjoy some fresh tropical fruits and listen to some traditional music performed by local people. Rowing small boat (sampan) along a beautiful natural canal and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in the countryside. Continuing to An Hóa Island, Bến Tre province to visit a coconut candy workshop.

If the time permits, you will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda or Cao Dai Temple – one of the spiritual destination in southern Vietnam.
