DETAILS ITINERARY:

DAY 1 HANOI - ARRIVAL [NO GUIDE]

Arrival in Noi Bai International airport, our driver (no guide) will pick you up from airport to hotel for check in and take a rest. 

Check in time at 2PM. Overnight in Hanoi. 

DAY 2 HANOI - NINH BINH [B/L] – group tour

07h30 – 8h00: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for the limousine transfer to Ninh Binh. 

09h15: You will have a short break of 15 – 20 minutes to stretch your legs, use the facilities or have a quick snack. 

10h30: The limousine arrives in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from years 968 to 1010. Then you will visit the Temple of King Dinh and King Le to learn more about Vietnamese history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.

11h45: You will have a buffet lunch with local specialties in the private area of our Ninh Binh Heritage restaurant. The vegetarian option is also available.

13h00: The limousine brings you to Tam Coc, known as “Halong Bay on the land”, where you will spend 1.5 hours on the bamboo boat to explore this area. On this excursion down the Ngo Dong River, you will pass through the beautiful paddy fields, limestone karst formation, and a stunning cave system including Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba caves for a unique experience. 

14h30: It’s time to join our 45 minutes cycling activity to discover the life of the local people.

15h30: We continue to visit Mua Cave, also known as the “Great Wall of China” in Vietnam, and climb 500 steps to reach the peak of Ngoa Long Mountain, overlooking the amazing view of the city and Tam Coc below.

16h30: You then get on the limousine for the transfer back to Hanoi.

18h30 -19h00: The limousine drops you off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter

DAY 3 HANOI - HA LONG BAY [B/L/D] – SHUTTLE BUS 

On the way, you will stop for refreshments, and upon arriving in Halong City, you will take a tender transfer to your junk and set sail through the bay while lunch is served. As you cruise the magical bay, you will notice thousands of sculpted limestone islands rising from the waves like dragons' teeth. Later in the afternoon, you'll visit a fishing village with the opportunity to interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. Back on board, you'll enjoy cocktails or a cooking class while watching the sunset, and later you can unwind at a restaurant with a lavish dinner. To end the day, you can enjoy some evening activities such as movie night, board games, or a beauty treatment, before an overnight stay on the junk.

DAY 4 HA LONG BAY - HANOI [B/BR] – SHUTTLE BUS 

Wake up on the bay to the sounds of waves and bird welcoming the new day. You will have an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock.

Disembark on cruise, then back to Hanoi.

DAY 5 HANOI - CITY TOUR - STREET FOOD TOUR [GUIDE/B/D]

Explore the charming city of Hanoi, often referred to as the ‘Paris of the East’, with its yellow ochre colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and scenic lakes. Visit the historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an imposing monument of marble and granite built to house the preserved body of beloved revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh, affectionately known to the Vietnamese as “Uncle Ho”. Visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a Buddhist temple built in 1049 of wood in the shape of a lotus blossom and set on a single stone pillar. 

Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university built in the late 11th century. The picturesque temple is an example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and is featured on the back of the 100,000 Vietnamese dong banknote.

Lunch by your own account 

In the afternoon, you will discover Hoa Lo Prison – a prison in Hanoi originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War.

drive back to central Hanoi for a walking tour through the famed Old Quarter known for its ‘36 streets of 36 wares’ named after the original 36 artisan guilds that date as far back as the 13th century. You will visit Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son Temple – the temple of the Jade Mountain. 

Exploring Train Street – an iconic destination in Hanoi. Then you will enjoy street food in Hanoi. 

Below is some suggestion for you: 

1. Banh My – a simple Vietnamese baguette 
2. Bun Cha – made of grilled pork & noodle, a well-known local food in Hanoi. 
3. Banh Trang Tron – Rice Paper Salad – one of best street food
4. Tasting Egg Coffee or Sweet Soup (chè) 
5. Nem Lui – Grilled ground pork on stick 

Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 6 HANOI - FLIGHT TO HUE [NO GUIDE/B]

Free and easy in Hanoi, then take a flight to Hue.
Arrival in Hue, check in at hotel and take a rest. 

Overnight in Hue. 

DAY 7 HUE CITY TOUR [B/L] – Group Tour 

Morning 8:00 am - 08:20 am: Car and tour guide pick you up at the hotel in the center of Hue city to Toa Kham boat station. Cruise on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, an ancient temple built in the early 17th century.

After that, the car picks you up and continues to visit the Citadel (Royal Palace of 13 kings of Nguyen Dynasty, last feudal dynasties of Vietnam: Ngo Mon, Forbidden City, The Mieu, Hien Lam Cac, Cuu Dinh).

Next, the group will visit and shop at Dong Ba market - the market has been over 100 years old and has become the largest shopping center in Hue City.

You will enjoy lunch with typical Hue dishes at the local home. After lunch, you will have a quiet time, listen to meditation music, rest at the place, and enjoy Hue Royal Herbal Tea, an herbal foot bath.

Afternoon: Continue to visit the unique architecture from the tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty: Minh Mang Tomb, Khai Dinh Tomb (Two mausoleums have beautiful and unique architecture with Eastern and Western styles). Continue to visit the village to make hats and incense. Here you can experience making incense, making hats, and don't forget to leave lovely memories.

4:00 pm - 4:30 pm: The car and tour guide take you back to the hotel. End program!

DAY 8 HUE FREE AND EASY [B]

DAY 9 HUE - HOI AN [GUIDE/B/L]

We'll pick you up in front of your hotel . Depart to Waterfall ( you can swim here ) - Fishing Village  to take photos and have lunch on the floating restaurant in lagoon . Then ,you can go to Hai Van Pass to stay on the top and ejoy the view / drink coffee  . After that, we'll go down Hai Van Pass and we go to along to the coast of the East Sea , you can visit a Heaven Cave in Marble Mountain.

Then transfer to Hoi An, check in at hotel and take a rest. 

In the the late afternoon, Take a walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient town centre, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge. 

Back to hotel and take a rest

Overnight in Hoi An. 

DAY 10 HOI AN - MY SON SANCTUARY [B/L] – GROUP TOUR 

07:30 – 08:10: our guide pick you up at your hotel and depart to My Son Sanctuary – 1600year-old ruins of the Champa kingdom.

2 hours to discover the site by walking throughout the landscape, learning history and enjoying the UNESCO heritage site.

11:30 have lunch at restaurant in My Son with local noodles.

12:30 move to a local house to learn how to make ricepaper, you will enjoy your own hand-making product later on.

13:30 take a boat trip to Hoi An with nice and cool breeze on boarding, beautiful river scenery on the biggest river in the Central of Vietnam names as Thu Bon River. 

14:00 arrival in Hoi An, we will drop you off at your hotel.

DAY 11 HOI AN - FISHING TOUR [B/L] - GROUP TOUR

Pick you up at your hotel by private car and transfer you down to PHƯỚC HẢI- CỬA ĐẠI Fishing Village 

Board  Jack Tran’s  boat cruise and commence cruising on CỬA ĐẠI River

Enjoy Thúng Chai basket boat demonstration by Jack Tran’s crews.

Learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats and join in a basket boat racing for fun while exploring waterways palm coconut canals waterways of a past war and hear of the extreme conditions endured by soldiers of both sides of V.C & US army. Enjoy your fun catching purple crabs 

Join local fishermen life on the river and enjoy hands-on experience cast net fishing

Enjoy learning and experiencing cultural folk music of singing and rowing Bả Trạo with local fishermen  

Keep arriving to an islet fisherman for big net fishing

DAY 16 HO CHI MINH - CU CHI TUNNEL BY SPEED BOAT [GUIDE/B/L] - GROUP TOUR 

07:45 AM: Transportation

Pick-up at the hotel and transfer to Tan Cang Pier (A100 Ung Van Khiem Str., Ward 25, Binh Thanh Dist., HCMC) by minivan.

08:00 AM

Depart to Cu Chi Tunnels by speed boat. Within 15 minutes, the banks of the river change  from city sprawl to lush jungle, fresh fruits and drinks are served on boat. The guide will tell you some Vietnamese lifestyle of local citizens living along the river banks.

09:15 AM: Arrived at Cu Chi Tunnels.

09:30 AM

Tourists visit  and discover the real life underground of Cu Chi Tunnels.

Watching a short introductory “propaganda” video.

Explore the tunnel site, which includes weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic Viet Cong tunnel.

Visiting different underground bunkers (kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunition etc.), relaxing with shooting real gun at the firing range (exclusive for bullets).

Crawling into the tunnels and enjoying the special and fantastic feeling.

Try the local cassava root that sustained Viet Cong fighters for years.

12:00 PM

Enjoy Vietnamese set menu lunch. Then return your boat and heading back Tan Cang.

02:00 PM: Our staff will transfer you back to the hotel.

DAY 17 HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA [GUIDE/B/L]

A smooth one-and-half-hour bus ride through rice field scenery along National Highway 1 brings you to the beautiful rural district of Trung Luong.

On arrival at My Tho, after visiting Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely cruise on the Tien River to view the four beautiful islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. Boats pass by the fish rafts along the Tien River, overlooking the Rach Mieu Bridge. Stroll along the village road, visit the orchard and enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music" performed by locals.

Riding a hand-rowed sampan through the Tan Thach canal. Then visit the coconut candy mill and take an amazing rowing boat trip along the small canal on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals.

Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant; Then the motorboat will take you back to the cruise. Meet on the bus and return to Ho Chi Minh City. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta, and you are guaranteed to take home your private collection of beautiful memories.
